No one gets to decide who you are except for you

No one gets to tell you how capable you are, 

what you can accomplish, 

and who you can become....

People will undoubtedly talk and give their opinions like they know something that you don’t 

They will label you, judge you, shame you, belittle you, look down upon you & speak down to you

They won’t believe in you simply because they view the world from a lens clouded by judgment, pessimism, ignorance, hatred, blame, fear, jealousy, envy, guilt, shame, etc. 

so promise to not take what they say so harshly,

they don’t even know you, but you do, you know you.

You’ve known you your whole life.

you know who you are,

what you stand for,

who you can become,

&

what you can conquer, 

In fact, it is YOU and you alone who gets to decide who you listen to and who you believe 

Sure, you can believe the discouraging boss, the jealous “friend,” the ignorant acquaintance, the judgmental internet troll, the envious co-worker, or the pessimistic family member...

I promise, they will not hesitate to voice their opinions 

Or you can listen to and believe YOU

ya know the one who knows herself better than anyone else,

 the one who’s spent her whole life getting to know herself, walking in her shoes, accomplishing shit, handling shit, learning shit, healing from shit, etc. etc.
