Intoxicating Dreams

You are light and love and pain and passion, 

binded together into a tornado of purpose, 

just waiting for your winds to grow strong enough to take the world by storm

You are a wild, vibrant, rain forest

All four seasons exist within you, 

and valuable treasures that have never known sunlight remain hidden deep within

You are a fiercless warrior, 

who’s smile has never told a soul of the various battles and agonies you’ve faced,

Your smile is so strong, radiant, vibrant, and fierce,

It tells lies powerful enough to trick even your closest friends,

But your eyes, they’ve never lied…...not even once

no matter how hard they try, they simply cannot,

They, like a reflection of your spirit; 

like windows to your soul; 

expose all that your smile works so hard to cover up

and the dreams that bloom from the soil of your very being…..

but only those who look deep enough into them can see

the graceful yet fierce garden that flourishes deep within
